An Exhibition part of the 12th DesignTo Festival

In partnership with the Ontario Science Centre featuring SHAKERSZSTORIES

‘TERRAM’ is an art experience that invites you to an Earth-like planet overflowing with life. It reflects on our kinship with nature and abundance when life is left to run wild.

In partnership with the Ontario Science Centre, ‘TERRAM’ invites you to connect and discover the evolving planet as a Terranaut and be part of our journey. We invite you to experience a world of biodiversity, of ever-growing flora and fauna, fantastical species, and vitalizing waters.

The Exhibition features a story by SHAKERSZSTORIES titled “How Do We Save The Earth?”

The Ontario Science Centre is a space where visitors of all ages can learn-through-play and discover ways to think like a scientist every day. At the Ontario Science Centre, we believe that science, technology and innovation will help us shape a better future for society and our planet. As an organization, we are focused on making a positive and enduring impact on the lives of individuals and communities and creating the lasting fascination for science that powers promising futures. Our Mission is to inspire passion for the human adventure of discovery.

SHAKERSZSTORIES produces mini-stories for kids (and the kid inside of us!). Anne Fard completed her Master of Science in nutrition and epigenetics at the University of Toronto. Her educational background, mixed with a deep appreciation of culture and nature, brewed her passion for storytelling and art, that is, SHAKERSZSTORIES. SHAKERSZSTORIES hopes to foster creativity, bring joy and edutainment, and empower each other to build a better and more wonderful world.

The DesignTO Festival is Canada’s largest annual celebration of design with over 100 exhibitions and events forming Toronto’s design week. Going into its 12th year, the Festival transforms Toronto into a hub for creativity, taking art and design out of the studio and into the urban sphere. The Festival brings people together to celebrate contemporary culture, provides opportunities for emerging talent, and engages the community with exceptional and accessible public programming.
